Lavastein in Hamburg

I always enjoy going there. Large selection of dishes from different corners (pizza, burgers, salads, steaks, fish, fitness plates, etc.), solid to good quality. Operation always relatively fixed. I've been there countless times and I've never had anything to complain about. The places outside right on the Serrahn are of course ideal in summer.

A few weeks ago I was eating in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the positive mood of the meal was clouded a little. Nevertheless, the service was friendly.

I can recommend brunch, staff courteous.

Nice service and solid food with no frills. We had mussels and turkey steak and were completely satisfied. The cocktails were well mixed too.

As always, everything is fine. Special requests are met.

The food was good. We sat outside because we smoke. It was a bit too cold for the waiter to bring us the food outside, but then it still worked. But there was no tip from us. Punishment is needed. 🤣🤣

Fairly large restaurant, clean, nice service. Menu from pizza to rump steak and more at reasonable prices. Got food quickly, but wasn't that busy when we were there either. There is also a cocktail bar with delicious cocktails, we just found that there was a little too much ice in the glass. Otherwise recommended 👍 Also suitable for wheelchair users.

Not sure when they redecorated, but it's not really for the better, things are mixed and randomly put together. Sad it used to be such an relaxed space and atmosphere. Great for these boozy dates. But can't fault the food. Great value for money. Staff is always around if you need something. Great outside area, which we still love as well for the location directly at the serahn

Unfortunately bad quality. It is mostly about convenience. Nuggets are TK ware. Camenbert is also convenience. Cheap baked goods for the rolls. It's all about quantity, not quality. Oh just don't order iced tea, it's 100% cheap from Lidl or Aldi. 2 stars only for the ambience but it is very noisy and that with an occupancy rate of 40%. P.s. Please do not have any expectations of the sanitary facilities. The crowning glory are the cloisters in the hand basin.

Food was really good 👍🏻, we were alone in the restaurant as a group, unfortunately the waiter was soooo ... unfriendly and inattentive. Therefore only 3 stars possible. Possibly. More please and thank you and then there are also 5 stars

The food is delicious and the service is friendly! You can't complain about the price either. If you don't need anything fancy or a "wow" effect, you will definitely get your money's worth here!

Because the list of guests is visible to everyone. Other restaurateurs have a single note for each guest! This goes immediately behind the counter, so that no one can see who is or was there!

In itself a great location. I eat here regularly because the food is actually pretty decent for the price. Is not excellent and not bad either. You can end the evening quite comfortably at the bar. But what always makes the decision to eat here difficult is the service. Listless, grim and an unappealing charisma.

I like this place because I Love fish... My first time here .Not the last!! Not 5 stars because the sauce could be optional .

I've been there 3 times with today's visit.The staff are very nice and the the food is very good and made in a good amount of time. I really enjoyed the Duckstein 🍻.

Nice view from the outside service area. Had some drinks there - fast and professional service.

The place is lovely it has outside seatings near the small river. The staff was friendly the food was delicious. The portions were bigger than we expected. We had a great lunch, filled us for the rest of the day. Would definitely go back.

Unfortunately pizza has no real dough. Taste is very greasy. It is still possible to sit outside, it is pleasant when the weather is good. The interior was probably renewed 30 years ago. If the kitchen is improved and the interior refreshed, the restaurant could be really good and more financially worthwhile.

Nice, cozy restaurant, with the possibility to sit outside. Friendly service. As a welcome, there are, small oven-warm rolls. Large portions, spaghetti bitters. Parmesan freshly grated.

I ordered the poultry dish with potatoes and it was marvelous. Unfortunately, no strawberry sauce for the cheese cake i ordered as dessert.

The restaurant is located directly on the Doveelbe. You have a great view. The staff could be friendlier and shouldn't rush to order. (Therefore 4 stars) It is furnished in a maritime style and looks very cozy. The food was excellent and plentiful. I like to come back and maybe the waiter is friendlier.
